MCAC Baseball Athletes of the Week: Week of March 3-9

Leo Meraz, a right-handed pitcher for Minnesota North College - Rainy River, has earned this week's MCAC North Division Baseball Pitcher of the Week. Meraz pitched two innings of relief work in his first collegiate appearance, striking out two and giving up two hits and no walks. Earning the win, Meraz did not give up a run in the outing. 

First baseman for Minnesota North College - Rainy River, Ian Becker, went 7 for 11 from the plate, hitting .636 for the week. Becker had three doubles and a triple, one RBI, seven runs scored, four walks, and a stolen base to earn the week's MCAC North Division Baseball Position Player of the Week award
